Strength Training for Beginner....

Hello! I am wanting to do more weight training to build muscle, tone, and I also hear strength training can be better for weight loss than just cardio alone. Problem is I know nothing about weight training and don't really know where to begin. Does anyone have some recommendations of great websites/books that help people who are literally beginners when it comes to weight training? Thanks everyone!

    Starting Strength. Read it and follow it as is. Don't change the exercise, the reps, the sets. Just do the program and you'll get much stronger in a few months. It's popular because it works :)
