Measurements - sorry for the dumb question.

So, I really hate measuring myself, mainly because I always think I'm doing it wrong. And no amount of looking at measuring guidelines online will convince me I am doing it right.

However, I attempted this last month and since it'd been a month, I decided to try again.
According to my shady measuring, I lost: 2 inches in my bust, 1 inch in my waist, 2 inches in my hips, 1 inch on my thigh and half an inch on my arm.
So, my question: is this possible? Is it good? Is there NO WAY this is reasonable and I am doing it all wrong? I honestly have no idea or any idea on standards for measuring.

    Um, bump? Help? Anyone?
  • Yes that is great! The way I see any decrease is good. I am patiently waiting for shifts such as yours. Congratulations!

youtube has a lot of information on how to take measurements correctly. It can be tricky. my hubby takes my measurements, and I'm pretty sure the exact loccation of where my hips/waist get measured vary a bit, but we do our best!

its best to have someone else measure you..measure yourself at the same time of day, perferably under the same conditions. meaning dont eat a heavy meal, as that can expand your gut a bit.

I 'm doing my own measurements too. I'm sure it's not going to be an exact science, but I've had to let go of things being exact. In my diet experiences in the past I have found that if I fall off the wagon in even the slightest...I completely sabotaged the rest of the day. So I'm trying to be more light hearted this time. don't get me wrong...I'm still gonna be hardcore...but not worried about being perfect. That goes my measurements as well ;)
