To Shred Or Not To Shred....Today!!

Well I did the shred on Tuesday and I'm aching like a mad one, I felt better yesterday than today. Should I push through the leg ache and keep going (as I rested yesterday) or give myself another day. Don't want to be a slacker but don't want to hurt myself more either lol

    Keep going and bite through the pain a little. If it hurts way too much, then you need to stop. Make sure you do proper stretches. The stretches that Jillian gives you are not really enough!
  • Push through and stretch properly afterwards..

    i had the same problem, i had a rest day and then i got back on it and although it hurt quite a bit stretching after made it feel better.

    Do twice as many stretches as she does and look up some extra ones. yoga poses are good to do after because they stretch everything out nicely.

    Do it!

    Days 2, 3 & 4 are always a little painful for me, but I always push through it.

    It's OK to push through muscle soreness, but not pain. And as the others have said already, stretch stretch stretch!!

    What is shredding? I've seen this on a couple of message boards but I've never heard of it before...

    @crazyola26: They mean the '30 Day Shred', this is a fitness Dvd by Jillian Michaels (from The Biggest Loser USA).

    I'm wondering if the OP went through with it? How did you go?
