I've noticed that my daily goal, as far as, sugar is concerned, changes from day to day, does anyone know why it does that? Also, day in, day out, I am consistly over my target goal when it comes to sugar, even though, with the exception of salad dressing I eat healthy. Should I be concerned about this? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Im the same - always over on my sugars!

I think as long as you are eating "good" sugars (like those found in fruit) its not too much of a problem.

Just look at the labels more, low fat doesnt necessarily mean low sugar (and vice versa)

As far as the GOAL changing from day to day...I dont know. Have never noticed it on mine before.

    Edited to add.....

of course all goals will be different if you exercise since MFP adjusts everything to add your exercise back to your goals - Calories, fat, Carbs etc

It's mainly important to avoid foods with added sugar. If you're getting most of your sugars from things like fruit then it's not that big of a deal.

I looked over your diary and it looked pretty healthy. That said, if you want to decrease your sugars, try varying your snacks and meals. For example, instead eating a high carb breakfast of cereal (how much sugar is in your cereal?) every morning, try mixing it up with some hardboiled eggs or meat once in awhile. Or instead of snacking on 8 clementines and nut bread, have a few clementines and some almonds instead.

In my personal experience, it's a lot easier to maintain my caloric goals when I avoid high carb meals, and try and make an effort to have some vegetables or protein with every meal.
