ephedrine?

A friend of mine has offered me a month supply of slimming pills called ephedrine, she said they're really good and the weight drops off so fast. I'm not sure about them,i have taken slimming pills before but i've bought them from a pharmacy. has anyone taken these? do they work? should i give them a go? thanks :)
