Anyone else travel for a living?

New member here looking for some good advice!!

I work as a consultant with one of the big 4 accounting firms. This means most weeks I am on the road at least Mon-Thursday, and many times Sunday-Friday. Each project is different as far as time requirements, gym availability, food options, etc. I have been with this company for about 4 years and put on about 100 pounds in that time on a frame that was already overweight. I am on a great project now that has a fantastic gym 0.5 miles away, enough food options in the area, etc. so I am in a great place to be successful now, but this project could end in a week and I will be onto something new which could have all different attributes. I try working out in the mornings as that was very successful for me in the past, but many nights I have to go out with my team or partners or clients, and those can lead to late nights (midnight or later) which make morning workouts tough, but in the evening my schedule varies so much that coming up with a true routine is difficult for me. My biggest problem is that by time I get home in the evening, I am normally exhausted and looking for something quick so I can get a quick call in with the wife and get some sleep, and generally quick = bad for me!

Anyone else in a roughly similar situation? My wife just turned me onto this site over the holidays and I love it so far (albeit only 2 days in) - learning a lot - but would love to hear from people who are in a similar situation where its difficult to really come up with a routine. What are some of the things you do to be successful?

I really have a great job, great wife, and a great life overall, just want to find a way to not have fellow airline passengers cringe when they realize they get to cuddle up next to me on a flight!! One of the nice things about being big though, I never have to worry about whether my seat belt is low and tight across my lap - that's the only way it fits - haha.
