Is normal to lose weight so fast?

Hi everyone!

My goal is to lose 10 pounds, I start on 01/02/2011 (3 days ago) doing some exercise, counting my calories, eating 6 times per day and NOT carbs at night. This is my 4th day and I just realized that i had lost 3 pounds already. Is that normal?

This is the first time that I'm in diet (I have been skinny my whole live, no more than 120 pounds) I start to gain weight a year ago since I marry and moved abroad (Food changed). Please Help! I need to know if I'm in the correct way :(.
