I have recently started having horrible tendonitis in my shoulders, which is really impinging on my exercising. Anyone have any good home treatments besides ice, rest, and ibuprofen? Trying ta avoid cortisone shots, etc.

Well you could ask your brothers or visiting teacher for help.
There is some stretching that can be done to prevent the pain but once you have it you are suppose to rest it. So much so it says to make sure you aware of not sleeping with your arm above your head.
You are not suppost to use just ice, You are suppose to alternate with heat too. Also it never hurts to keep really hydrated and avoid foods high in sugars and sodium so you body can can flush the acids building up in the muscle.
Last but not least..... Go get some womans PMS medicine and take it instead of the ibuprofen unless it is not a high enough dosage for you. It has Ibuprofen and It covers all the symptoms. Bloating, fatigue, swelling, pain, etc.

This sounds crazy but have a look on youtube. I have tendonitus in my archilles and there are people who have posted exercisess on thier. For me, I checked out what they were saying elsewhere as well but I found it a good starting point. Alternative you could book in to a sports physo. This will cost you about £40-50 in the UK but they will tell you what to do
