Before I had my son, getting in shape wasn't that tough and I enjoyed it so much. Now a days, I'm so exhausted from working all day then coming home and playing with my one year old that I am finding my motivation to workout keeps taking a backseat. I am in need of some serious motivation and guidance. I find myself lost and not sure which way to go and where to start. I try to eat healthy but as I input what I'm eating, I'm shocked with calories and nutrients. So if you are needing the same or can help please be my new bff :o) Thanks!!

I'll help you:) what type of workouts do u like? Are you going to a gym or do u want to workout at home when u find the time??
  • I try to workout at home. I have an elliptical and I've gone walk/jogging 3 times. I'll set a goal, jog to this point and walk to this point. The jogging distance has gotten longer but the past week I've noticed I'd rather just go lay down then exercise. I have my son for most of the evening by myself.

Have you thought about trying any workout videos at home? Maybe to mix it up a bit so it's not only jogging or walking? Cuz your body gets use to doing the same thing and won't lose weight as much as you did the first week or so.
  • I am in the same boat. My second son is four months old. I had a hard enough time trying to workout with just one child. With two now, I don't have a clue where to begin. I am just so tired all the time. I find that when I finally have a moment to myself I just want to relax. I was already overweight when I got pregnant. I first want to get this pregnancy weight off and then tackle the rest. I know I will feel so much better and have much more energy if I can release some of this weight. I am definitely feeling overwhelmed right now!

Could you walk or jog pushing your son's stroller? I did that when my older daughter was a toddler, and I dropped a lot of weight. I wasn't tracking my calories then, just watching what I ate. It worked really well for me, and it was nice to have something like that to do with my daughter. I don't know where you live and how the weather is, but it might work for you. I used a regular stroller and not a jogging stroller, so I had to make sure I stayed on smooth ground.
