Great week / Weight Gain

What a bummer this morning when I got to the gym for my weekly weigh-in. I was sure to have lost a good 3-4 pounds this week. I stuck to a strict 1200-1500 calorie diet, low on the carbs. I worked out twice a day since last weigh-in.
So drum roll.... I gained 1 pound. What, I can't believe that and so deflated the high I was on after doing such a great job for the week on nutrition and exercise.
Last weeks weigh-in I got to my goal for the year of 102 ponds down. I have another 100 to go and this result did not start off the year well for me.
Hopefully all that work will show up next week...
No question, just venting a little.
Thanks everyone.

How would you feel if this happened to you?0

Try not to let the scale ruin your high-- you're doing great! Just keeping at it.0

I would feel devastated as well, but I agree that it will show up next week. If you have another good week of exercise and eating it should be even better!! You have done amazing!!0

Just keep it up,
keep track if inches, and stuff too.
if you feel good and youre in a good routine youll be fine.0 -
Just remember...a few fluctuations will occur. If yo started a new workout routine..or even hit the gym harder..your muscles will retain a bit of water..which could account for the 1 pound gain.
Just keep at it...take measurements..they are the best indicator of success...
Be proud of what you did accomplish..working out and staying within your calorie goal...0 -
That would really tick me off too! Ugh! I feel ya0
