Career Mother to Stay at Home Mom
Ok i need advice! I am 27 and I have worked full time (sometimes 2-3 Jobs at a time) since 15 years old. I am very happy that my fiance and i are able to do this but what do i do with my time. I do have a 3 year old and my nephew 18 months stays here will his mom works but what to do with all this time. I feel useless. Obviously i have taken over all household things. I am very creative but financially we are still trying to get comfortable with 1 income. Any advice how to not feel useless and gain energy????

Ahh - those ages were the best part about being a stay-at-home mom. I loved having a legitimate excuse for playing with play-dough, building forts in the house and all that other immature stuff again. Seriously, do you coupon? That can take up some time. Planning meals, perusing cookbooks and figuring out how to make recipes fit in your life, of course, a workout, reading with the kiddos, and there's always some sort of cleaning to be done. And remember, getting comfortable with 1 income is a season. Within a few months, you should know how your budget will work, and whether or not you have money for projects such as scrapbooking, sewing, etc. And don't forget that FEELING useless, and actually BEING useless are two different things.0
