The calories you are allocated as your daily resting burn rate effectively take into consideration the energy it takes you to process food.

if you eat it, log it. the end.
ditto. No such thing- log everything you eat even if it's like 10 calories. It's not a good habit in my opinion to eat something (even something as healthy as celery) and have the mental attitude of "don't need to log that...". Don't you think that could lead to not logging other things? Hell, I put cinnamon powder on my sugar free pudding last night and even logged that (1tsp is like 3 calories, lol)0
