I think it is funny when people dislike or hate certain words....do you hate any?

my sister hates the word sustenance...so of course I say it as often as I can...

    there are a few that I HATE but will get booted off here if I say the, Lets just say its 4 letters and starts with a C and rhymes with RUNT OH how I hate that word ! I also dont like the work amicable...dont know why but I dont like saying that word it just sounds silly !

    Probably because it is often used in reference to a celebrity divorce, which are almost never amicable. :laugh:

    My husband hates the word 'Gingerly' and when I say fizzy pop instead of coke/lemonade!!

    On another note, my favourite word is doppleganger!
