Have more to lose than I thought :(

I didnt weigh myself before starting this website a few weeks ago. Now I know I should have. I weigh 5 lbs more than I thought. Not too bad I know but it adds 5 lbs I need to lose. And I only have a short time to reach goal to begin with.

Question: how do I change how many pounds I need to lose on my ticker? I could not figure it out.

Go to home > goals > change goals, and you can enter a new starting weight. That should update your ticker.

And, I know the feeling. I had previously lost 7 pounds on here and then the holidays hit and I knew I gained a few back. I re-weighed myself expecting to only have gained a few pounds... turns out I gained back ALL the weight I had lost. Every pound. So now I'm starting all over.

It sucks, but we learn from these mistakes and we'll be healthy in no time!

Just some perspective...when I weighed myself at the beginning, I weighed TWENTY pounds more than I thought. Yikes. No matter where you start, though, you can always do it!

Thanks for replies. Glad to know I am not the only one. And 5 lbs only puts me a couple weeks off my goal so I need to try and think positively.
