Endurance Athletes: Favorite Protein Bar?

For those of you who have experience in endurance sports (and I mean 1/2 marathon, full marathon, long distance cycling, etc.) what is your favorite protein refueling bar or snack on the go? I'm not looking for post-workout shakes or bars, but for mid-run fueling. On the extremely long runs/events I need fuel that isn't just carbs -- I need something with protein as well. Suggestions? On my full marathon I consumed a standard PowerBar in stages throughout the race after I had also taken in some GU. However, before my next 1/2 marathon and next full, I'd like to tinker with fuel options. What do you like and why?

    I do long bicycle rides, even though I still have 150 miles to lose. I like the Quest Bar - All Natural line because I get the protein, without carbs. Because I'm still trying to lose weight, I don't want a lot of sugar or carbs when I do distances. I'm naturally "fat" loaded, and have no need for "carb" loading.
  • Cliff bars are my go to option :]
