Impaired Feet and New Shoes

Hey!

I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and my feet are the most impaired joints. All my toes are fused. I am looking for some recommendations for great shoes that absorb impact. I am currently wearing Asics, but wanted to get some input from those of you who might have some knowledge in this area.
