mind/body motivation for running??

I'm following a training plan to prep me for running a half marathon at the end of April. Well, I'm supposed to be -- I'm not to running all those miles yet; I walk most of them. Anyway, I've got myself worked up to one full mile without stopping or walking (that's pretty big considering where I was three weeks ago). After I finish that first mile, I usually have 2-3 more to do but I'm spent after that first mile. Even if I stop and go get a drink of water, I start the treadmill up for that second mile and I just can't get myself to go. I might be able to run for a couple of minutes, but that's it. Have you dealt with this? How do I get my mind and my body to keep going?
