lemons to lemonade to lemon martinis

I have a friend who takes lemons,makes lemonade and then turns that into lemon martinis!!
She has had a bumpy road childhood, messed up teenlife,rocky young adultlife and hard road midlife.
I've known her for 12+ years and wish I had written down her life events for a Lifetime Movie or award winnning book. I could not begin to make up what she has gone though in just the time I have known her.
She is a fantastic story teller, I love her to death. If things are going to happen ....they will happen to her. She accepts everthing dealth her way with grace and humor. She is amazing. I have never seen her depressed, she does not check out to recover. She faces the horrors of life head on, shares with everyone and moves right on to the next thing.
There are not words to explain how fantastic she is. I love her. I wish her attitude toward life would rub off on me.
Anyone else have a friend who is exceptional?

i love to surround myself with people who inspire me!

One example is one of my best friends. She comes from a very broken home and went through some horrible things as a teenager...many people who went through the same things would have gone down a very self-destructive path, yet they only made her stronger. She is one of the strongest people i know, i am constantly in awe of her ambition. At 24 she is now a social worker with her own house. She has such drive!
