Deltoid Pain

Ever since I did some heavy upper body work on the Kinect Your Shape 2012 with my weight gloves I have been suffering. Deltoid pain in my left arm.

It has been 2 days now since I have done any upper body work. Was wondering how long to leave it before I do more? I don't want to lose workout days but I don't want to injure myself either.

Any suggestions?

both arms or just one? if it's both probably sore from new activity. you can be sore 48 hours after new activity. and even up to 3 days (have heard of 4) but if you were sore the 3-4 day range then weight was probably heavier than you needed at this point.

if its one arm, might be injury.

give it a few more days, and see if it still hurts. Ice it, take motrin or ibuprofen for swelling, and see dr. if hurts more than 4 days!

Thanks, I decided to do some light exercise yesterday evening and it seems to have helped, pain has all but gone. Cheers for advice.
