Hi. I am new to this forum. I've found that actually writing down my foods each day helps me stay on track. I am a wife and mother of 3 children, the youngest a bouncing 7 month old baby boy. Needless to say I am trying to shed some baby weight. Although, I am only 4 lbs away from what I was before having my youngest child, I would like to lose down to what I weighed before I became a stay at home mom. I've found that consistency is the key, and that is what I'm aiming for!

I tend to stay down on myself regarding my weight, and I don't want to pass on that negative self image to my daughter. She is 9 and the oldest of my children. She is by no means heavy, but she is 5'2" tall at 9 years old, therefore weighs about 97lbs - while most of her friends are a head shorter than her and 15 lbs lighter. On the other hand, my oldest son is very thin. He is 6 and seems to never stop moving! My husband also wants to lose about 20 lbs, so this is a family effort to "live a healthier lifestyle". We don't want to call it a diet!
