Hey guys. I would like to start taking vitamins everyday. I got some a few months ago from Whole Foods (regular multi vitamins for women) but they upset my stomach so I stopped taking them. Everyone suggests I take a vitamin daily so I would like some suggestions please.

Take them with food, or take them at night just before bed. You will probably get used to them. Some people say the chewable ones are less likely to cause nausea.
You can also take them with ginger - a natural anti-nausea agent.0 -
Multivitamins are actually very harsh on your stomach, especially if you haven't eaten anything when taking them. It sounds like you are using higher-quality vitamins, which will help. Did you take the vitamins with or without food?0

I've heard if you have a healthy diet, you don't need a multi vitamin unless you have some kind of medical condition that would leave you needing something.
However, I have awful hair and nails so I thought I would give them a go, just in case I was missing something... only cost a few bucks so why not.
I got the Target brand gummies. I haven't had any stomach problems with them, and I have a pretty sensitive tum. They also taste yummy and it is hard to only have the two
There seems to be a lot of articles about what may or may not cause the upset stomach, the coating, too much iron, empty stomach, binders...0 -

I take my multivitamins at night because of the same problem. I used to take big, giant (expensive) multivitamins, though. I found that the sheer size of them would sometimes make me gag when taking them, so that didn't help. Then I read or heard a while back that a lot of the expensive multivitamins out there contain more stuff than the body can actually absorb, so a lot of it's flushed out through the urine and wasted. I've started taking a cheaper and smaller multivitamin that contains lower doses of everything, and it's helped me quite a bit. They don't make me quite as sick, and they're easier to take. Also, I don't think that my body is 'flushing out' as much stuff as it was before; the fancy vitamins gave me neon yellow urine and these ones don't. At least, not to the same extent.0

Multi-vitamins tend to make me really sick so I take them before bed. That way I guess I'm asleep when I get nauseous lol!0

Sounds weird but when I was preggo with twins I couldn't handle prenatals or any other regular vitamin. My doctor had me take flintsones and those never made me sick. They have everything you need, especially combined with eating well.0
