Calories question, should I be concerned?

OK I just recently started back excercising and changed the way I eat even more(I don't use the word diet), and i've noticed how low my calories are actually staying. Now i'm well aware that I am one of those people who can easily become addicted to excercise and will just eat less and less if I don't watch myself, which I know is not good. I've been eating regularly everyday and i'm not really going hungry or anything but I keep not even getting close to the 1200 calories i'm supposed to eat while burning off close to that instead. I haven't felt weak or anything and am not sure if I should be concerned anyway and try to eat more. Any help would be great, I really wanna lose weight HEALTHILY and don't want to do more damage to my body instead.

First of all, make sure you're not underestimating the calories you are eating. It happens a lot.

Adding oatmeal, fruits and beans/legumes to you diet might help bring up those calories consumed. (Among other foods that you may not be eating)

Can't really think of anything else without more information on what you're currently eating.
  • usually cheerios with 1/2 cup of whole milk for breakfast and a salad with some kind of protein for lunch, dinner is always dinner but has a protein and a veggie and I try to just snack on fruits and veggies if I get hungry inbetween, and i'm only drinking water too
