Hi everyone! I'm new to this site, and am working to get on track to loose the 25lbs that I've been carrying around since having my son two years ago. I really need some suggestions on healthy easy snacks. Specifically I need to find something to keep me full and energized in the late afternoon before my workout. I try to keep my calories down during the day, but can end up hungry and munching on all the wrong things when I walk through the door after work. Can you guys suggest some of your favorite pre-workout snacks?

  • Hi!! Some healthy snacks that work for me:

    raw almonds (handfull)
    celery and peanut butter
    string cheese sticks
    yogurt cups

all of these are quick and easy to grab when you come in the door starving! I also try to drink a lot of water constantly throughout the day which helps keep my hunger/cravings at bay.

hope this helps! good luck :)

Banana for weight lifting or long session of cardio. It's easy to eat and it's not messy. I can eat while I'm driving.
Other cardio work out, I just drink caffeine or coffee so I have a little of energy to burn fat..
