Hunger pains

What can I eat to keep full? My daily calorie intake is way over what my weigh loss goal is suppose to be but i am always hungry. I have tried to replace sweets and simple carbs with more complex carbs, protein and fiber but it doesn't seem to work. I have even increased my water intake. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If try replacing some of the carb intake with fat. Have veggies with butter or coconut oil instead of a serving of rice, for example. Fat triggers the full response much higher in the digestive tract than carbs do. Even though complex carbs are "better", they still burn off faster and keep you less full than fat.0

Protein, water and fiber are good places to start, however if that's not working, you have to see what other factors are at play.
1. How many calories are you eating? Is it enough for your activity level?
2. What kind of workouts are you doing? I find that strength training makes me hungry.
3. Do you have any hormonal problems? When my thyroid levels are low, I get tired and hungry.
4. Are you taking any medications that list "increased appetite" or "weight gain" as part of the side effects? I had been taking two that had these listed, and once I stopped taking them, a few pounds just melted off.0
