Hi,

I just invested in a Juicer because I know how great fresh fruit juices are for you. However, I need recipes because what I just made was disgusting. Thanks for the help.

Yum. sounds pretty good. Also, do you know how long fresh juice lasts in the fridge? I was planning on doing a 2 day juice cleansing fast and I was debating on whether or not to make all of the juice at once.

Can't go wrong with carrots and granny smith apples!

See, I prefer veggie juices to the fruit ones. While I love fresh fruit, I guess I'm not a concentrated fructose gal.

I love making juice with carrots, cucumber, celery, and a smidge of radish. The radish gives it a nice kick, but if you don't like radishes, by all means leave it out. Sometimes I throw a tomato in there too if I want it kind of V-8'ey.

I feel like a got a vitamin shot when I drink one of these :)

My best advice, lady: DO NOT make your juice all at once though - the juice loses its nutrients quickly after it's made, and it tastes bleh after a while too. Best to drink it within a couple hours if not immediately! :flowerforyou:

What kind of juicer do you have? I have the Jack LaLanne one, I love it.

I have a Jack LaLanne as well. Thanks for all of the advise! This morning my juice concoction was much better. I did a little bit of spinach, cucumber, carrots, romaine, celery, an apple and some vanilla protein powder and it was not bad at all. I might be addicted to juicing now.

Mmm. Spinach is great for the juicer because it adds tons of great vitamins and minerals, but its flavor isn't strong at all.

    Enjoy!!!
