Hey all!
I am going out to Outback tomorrow night and need some "healthy" suggestion. I hate going out to eat now knowing that most meals are 800 plus calories. So does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be the best thing to eat?

Thanks.

So many restaurants have their nutrition information on line now. I bet Outback does. If I were going, I'd probably opt for grilled fish or chicken, and double veggies, skip the fries or potatoes.

This way you can choose what you want before you go. :)

Share! If at all possible share your meal with someone. This has been my lifesaver...everyone knows I am counting calories and a couple of closest friends are too...so we split a meal.

The other thing is like was already mentioned...look up their menu online before you go and check the low-cal options...most places have a few things under 500 calories, you just gotta do your homework.

It has gotten much easier for me...our family eats out about twice a week, and I have my go-to meals at each restuarant now, and have stayed under my calorie goals on those days with just a little extra effort.

I will look that up. It is so hard going out to eat now. You really have to plan ahead with what you can eat and on top of that you have to work out more to be able to "pay" for what you eat :). Thanks for the site i will look it up.
