3 years ago I was an un-informed...idiot.

My typical day:
6am - 2hr workout
9-5 clothing store manager. I ate 1 cup of rice/2 chicken thighs/veggies and a kitkat bar (everyday)
6-7 biking or walk 3km
7-9 bowl of cereal or oatmeal
I switched jobs and the 6am workouts phased out but I was still active (support worker)
I've never been a big eater...but I was getting my breakfasts/lunch and most days suppers in.
Gained 40lbs over 3 years and on and off have tried to get it off.

I joined this site about a month ago and have had minimal loss, but it's rejuvenated my love for working out (in a healthy way) I started off with the 1200 cal with 1000 workouts without realizing I had to eat those calories back, I was informed and was quick to get that into check! I didn't see any budge in my weight/inches.

This past week I have upped my calories to 1400 with my workouts not so much geared towards my prized 1000 mark but more towards my routine....I've been babbling.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction as to what I should be doing after doing such a long stint (3 yrs) of literally starving my body?
