when you are losing the last 8-10 lbs, what is the minimum weight loss you should see in a month? i've netted a loss of only ONE pound in three months although within that i've gone down 2 and up 2.
is this ok for someone who doesnt want to lose huge amounts, or am i doing something wrong?
thanks!

    i should add to that, that i am calculating my calories using my BMR (1400) x 1.45 = 2030 - 400 = 1630/day. then i calorie cycle these 1630 unevenly.
so, technically, i should be seeing just under 1 lb/week but i am not!

your body is probably comfortable with the last few pounds and is fighting you all the way to hang onto those last few pounds. Perhaps a 10% increase in calorie intake is what you need to shock your metabolsim but then if you cycle your cals that shouldnt make a diff you also should focus on the quality of your cals no crap at all and loads of water.
I do believe those last few are always the hardest although I am not there yet I have been before pre pregnancy try making the cut by jillian michaels it is a program designed for this purpose

    good luck

When my sister was losing those last stubborn pounds, she had to up her exercise and calorie intake, but eliminate white flour and sugar completely. Once she got down as was concerned with maintenance, she eased off the work-out, calories, and re-introduced the white stuff.

Hi gilly88. I am in the same boat:noway: lost my first 10lbs like shedding water  1 lb a week over the first 10 weeks and then WHOOOA  NOTHING for the next 2 weeks, then picked up 2 lbs over the next three weeks??????.
I got a very bad attack of Sinusitis and even though I could not excercise or eat all my daily calories I lost 1lb :noway: just getting over this attack when I got another attack of Sinusitis?????? , two nights running I took a hot lemon, honey and boiling water drink to bed with 2 sinutab and sweated it out :noway: on the third morning I weighed myself and low and behold I had lost 1 lb again, so I am now back to my 10lb loss:huh:
I only have another 8 to 10 lbs to go but I am battling to get rid of them :brokenheart: and with me constanly getting Sinusitis I cannot up my excercise, can't even walk as much as I normally do let alone excercise more.
Not sure what the solution is?????:explode:
