HRM Questions

Hi There:

I just started using my HRM and I am loving it so far. I do have a few questions though.

1. When do you typically update your weight in the HRM for the most accurate readings? Every 10, 15 or 20 pounds or every pound you lose?

2. Can you wear your HRM while weight training and then log in the calories burned under cardio and eat them back or is that bad (my goal is to lose weight)?

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and your answers. Any other advice you can think of for a novice HRM user - I would be glad to read. Have a great weekend - Thanks-Dorothy:flowerforyou:

    Hi,

I change mine with every lb I lose so its accurate.

I wear mine in both cardio and strength training. When doing strength training, my HR still goes up as Im trying hard! So its still burning calories.

If you want to lose weight, dont eat the cals back, but I found as long as my net was 1200, then I was ok. Anything under that is when I didnt lose any.
