So my aim is to lose 0.5 pouds a week. I am set at sedentry which at the moment means 1530 calories a day.

What exercise should I log?

I walk frrom college every day (fast pace for about 30 minutes) and I walk around town during lunch time (about 5-10 mins each direction there and back to college). I usually don't log that exercise but sometimes I dance on my Just dance game using my HRM and log that down. Is that right for sedentry settings?

On days when i'm in the house most of the day and not walking around but i do dancing, how many of those calories should i log? All of them or just a bit? (sort of links with whether I should log walking as exercise from a college day)

Thanks!

I keep losing then gaining back weight with what I'm doing, hence being scared of upping calories, but i know sometimes not eating enough can be the problem? I'm just a bit confused lol x

I don't know about the reason you're gaining but Log everything. If you have a hrm, turn it on when you walk to count your calories and then log what it says. I believe the sedentary setting is for MFP to calculate what your goals should be.

Thanks. I'll try that for a bit and see if it helps. Fingers crossed. Kind of scared though!
