Heart Rate Monitor

I want to get a HRM to get a more accurate idea of the calories I am burning when I exercise.
But I don't want to spend a fortune.
Does anybody have any ideas whether the following HRM would be any good?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pulse-Sonic-K920D-Heart-Monitor/dp/B005560PU4/ref=reg_hu-rd_add_1_dp
Even if it's just to get me started with monitoring my calories using a HRM.
Thanks!
