Hi,

I start work so early the gym isn't open in time for me to get a workout in before I have to get to work. I want to try doing a workout at home in the morning. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best home workout DVD? And also for a yoga one too. I want to start that up again too.

Thanks in advance. :)

jillian michaels 30 day shred is really good, even for beginners and about $10

the insanity workout series is great as well, but a higher intensity level and more expensive

I like Leslie Sansone's Walk at home dvd's (great cardio)

Biggest loser Boot Camp is good- can customize your workout depending on how much time you have

    P90X is GREAT

depends on what you're looking for ....
I got easily bored with the 30 Day Shred b/c it's only 3 different workouts... and you do the same Level 1 20 min. workout every day for like 1-2 wks and then move on to Level 2 same 20 min workout every day, then move on to Level 3. It got really old quickly and honestly wasn't long enough to where I felt like I was getting a good workout.

I love Turbo Fire -- it's a DVD set from Beachbody. I've lost most of my 85+ lbs doing this - 2 rounds of it. It lasts for 12 or 20 wks - you pick. And there are many DVD workouts -- you follow the set schedule to see what you do on different days. I never got bored! It was fun and exciting to me. And challenging for any exercise level. There's a modifier person to show you each move on a modified -- low impact/but still intense way. Yes, it's expensive, but worth the investment in your health... cheaper than a gym membership (w/start up costs, first/last month's membership fees). And there's a big variety of workouts! You get some equipment with it too.
I love exercise that makes it worth my time. We don't have a lot of time in the day - so the more intensity we can do in less time - and devout ourselves to that -- the more results we'll see and the more likely we'll stay committed to the healthy lifestyle.

Good luck! I think DVDs in general are best b/c we're not wasting time commuting from a gym -- we workout when we want on our schedule!
