Ok....now that I've read all the direction on my hearrate sensor I am ready for 'super cardio day' tomorrow. My goal is to stay within 70 - 80% of my max for an hour....so 128-146 BPM. I'm excited that I'm going to start working with exact and quantifiable values and not just winging it and doing what I think is ok. For now I'm going to stay in the aerobic zone instead of taking it up a tier to the anaerobic zone as that will burn more calories from fat. Once I achieve my target rate I will move to the next level.

If this thing holds up for a year I'll have gotten my $43 out of it. :)

FYI...My routine right now is a full body workout split into two days...a lighter weight lifting day and a heavy one....which I mix with cardio. Day 1 is 45 min cardio and lighter lifting...Day 2 is 30 min cardio and heavy lifting...Day 3 is 'super cardio day'...1 hour of cardio. Rinse and repeat. Eventually I think I want to simplify it and just do 1 hour of cardio and then 30 min of cardio with the whole full body workout. Going to feel things out and develop it as it unfolds.
