I'm hopeful and fearful, cautious but determined. I know that this is a journey I'll have to take on my own but I don't want to be alone. So I'm reaching out the best way I know how in this modern age...via internet. Hopefully there's someone out there who's been where I'm going or current are where I am and willing to share.
I'm a Weight Watchers drop out. I've lost 25 pounds about 6 times in as many years. I'm not knocking Weight Watchers. The program works if you work it. But for some reason I can't seem to maintain momentum after the initial 25 pounds are gone. I know how to count calories and can plan meals for weeks on end to meet the caloric or points criteria. But something in my brain just goes awry when I need it most.
I can't really tell you how it is that I got to a point where I have 100 pounds to loose. I only know that that is where I am today. I can't talk my way out of this health mess. I have to actually DO something about it.
So Step One: Sign Up for Fitness Pal.
Step Two: TBD.
