Measurements - Is that even possible?

So I took measurements on the 2nd. I *thought* they were accurate, but I took measurements today, and they are different, smaller yes, but it just seems like "too much" to be believable. I've been doing the 30 day shred, but it's been a week! Here are the measurements:

Is it even possible to lose inches that fast, or is it more likely I measured wrong? I was sure to measure at the widest point around at each point...

1/2/12:
Bust: 49"
Natural Waist (above belly button): 45"
Waist at Belly Button: 50"
Hips at widest point: 49.5"
Left Arm: 18"
Right Arm: 18.5
Total Inches: 290.5"

1/8/12:
Bust: 48"
Natural Waist: 43.5
Waist at Belly Button: 48.5
Hips at widest point: 49"
Left Arm: 16.5
Right Arm: 17.5
Total Inches: 284.5

How do your clothes feel? Notice any difference there? I always find clothes the best measurement for me.

Either way, you're doing great sticking to the routine so well done!

If, like me, you were a bit reckless with eating over the holidays, it is possible that you've lost water weight quite rapidly since then.

I am fitting into XL yoga pants instead of XXL, but the XXL's were already a little loose on me to begin with, so I just thought it was a fluke. I definitely lost some water weight, I just didn't realized water weight could cause inches lost. That makes sense!
