I'm 42 and up to November they were arriving on time although they have got shorter over the year I put that down to age.

As they used to be very heavy and painful its been a nice change for them to be lighter and only last 2 days before water dropped off again so I can't say I complained!

December's were a week late.. I put that down to maybe over eercising too much the week before, thinking I'd drop more weight when they ended as a woman's metabolism is meant to be naturally higher the week before so was aiming for 800-1,000 cals a day burned in exercise but they didn't come on time.. I dropped the water so though they weren't gonna come but they they started a few days later near midnight!

This month the choc cravings kicked in,, went up 2 lb which I wasn't bothered about I knew it was coming, today got on scales for wii fit fortnightly weigh in and I'm down to 10st 2.. (pound less than before water went on) and again they haven't arrived on time.

I'm sure I read on here that is you lose any weight that week (before) then it can delay them or they don't come at all that month... is this what's happening or could it just be peri-menopause and they'd be doing this if I wasn't exercising and lost weight in that week?

I'm trying to get in 9st range by end of Feb so was planning a fairly intense few months exercise wise, then thought they might come back once I start maintaining at my goal weight?

Thanks
