Haha. Okay for the past month or two i've been going through this cycle

Day 1: Healthy Eating, Working Out, YAY!
Day 2: WOO! .1 lbs lost Eat Healthy Work Out:happy:
Day 3: yayy!!! down .3 lbs (total) Eat Healthy Work Out
Day 4: HAPPY HAPPY lost .5 (total) One (unhealthy) snack couldn't hurt... I'll work out tomorrow
Day 5: I don't need to check my weight, I'm doing great! Might as well eat another (unhealthy) snack. Too busy to work out, I have online games to play!
Day 6: Same as the day before
Day 7: OH MY GOODNESS! how did I gain 1lb? :noway: I WORKED SO HARD!

yeah if you didnt read that all, basically I'm saying I do good for a couple of days then trick myself into thinking that unhealthy snacking and not working out wont affect my weight.

My question is:
What do you guys say to yourselves when you feel like you should reward yourself with food and a lazy day? Any other tips?
thanks :flowerforyou:

I don't workout 7 days a week so I already get a "Lazy Day" as far as the unhealthy eating- If I want it I will have it but it MUST fit in my calories for the day- Another thing that helps me pass food up is that I look at what I have to do in the gym to burn whatever it is off- So typically it just isn't worth it to me- But I love working out at the gym so I don't need to talk myself into going- I get motivation from the people that are in shape.

try hanging a piece of clothing up - like the bikini you want to wear this summer that won't allow for flaws or some cute bootie shorts or something like that so when you see them you know that going to workout is important.

I tell myself that nothing tastes as good as being comfortable with myself. My rule is not ONE bite. I lose it after one bite.

I think someone posted this elsewhere and I took it and have used it a couple of times this week.

    What is I want?

What am I doing to get it?

    Is it working?

I wanted a glass of wine last night SOOOOO bad but I have promised myself I get 2 on Friday night and 2 on Saturday, that's it. So....I asked myself those questions above...and I didn't have the wine! I have to say however I can't wait for dinner tonight!!!
