I'm not much of a cook - and usually the only healthy stuff in my house consists of whole wheat pasta, chicken breasts, and Tilapia....anyone have any easy recipes for these foods? :)

Yesterday i made spaghetti w whole wheat pasta and ground turkey. I have started using veggies that I thought i didn't like. I cut up mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes threw it in a pot w tomato sauce and some seasoning, boiled pasta and used steamed up asparagus that I bought at walmart already made and that was dinner for 600 calories.

try a pecan crusted oven fried chicken. its better than fried chicken and healthier. You can take the same oven fry mix for the chicken and make tilapia cakes in the oven. With the pasta, you can make a cold pasta salad with a vinaigrette. Message me for these recipes.

Skinnytaste.com is the way to go. I ditto that recommendation the food is always good and the recipes are simple to follow. If you plan ahead you can put all your recipes for the week in your recipe box and just print out your shopping list from there. It couldn't be easier unless Gina came over and cooked the meals herself.

Trader Joe's and Costco have some great low fat sauces. I like to grill up some chicken, shrimp, halibut, etc., add the sauce toward the end and serve over a bed of wild rice. Fast, easy, delicious. My favorite is Trader Joe's Thai Green Curry Simmer Sauce.
