Disney's Newest Princess

I just read an article in the Washington Post about the newest Disney Princess which will be aimed towards a younger generation of children. This Princess will focus on the "inner beauty" and "Pretty Dresses that go with Sparkly shoes."

After I read the article I was surprised to see how many people were against the Disney princess's.

One thing I loved and related to most about Beauty from beauty and the Beast was her love for books, how she ignored Gastons advances even though he was "good looking" and to appreciate people despite their quirks.

Mulan fought for her Independence and her family how could anyone not look up to that Princess.

Ariel had hobbies and interests and also a big heart as well as hope that no matter what love can prevail.

I am also very excited about the new Brave princess but have reservations about this new Toddler princess. I hope they focus on other things than just her "Sparkly Shoes"

Snow White has to be my favorite..I mean, who wouldn't love a gal that cleans your house and has a sammich ready for you when you get home from a long day in the diamond mine? :bigsmile:

OOoooo they are remaking Snow White. Its going to be called Snow White and the Huntsmen. It looks pretty amazing.

There are 2 snow white movies coming out this year "Mirror Mirror" and "Snow White and the Huntsman". Can't wait to see both of them.

I just watched the trailer for Mirror Mirro. The movie had the same StarDust feel It looks like it will be fun and creative movie. I am glad they both arent the same kind of "Dark" movie that Snow White and the Huntsmen looks like. I think Mirror Mirror will be more for the whole family kind of movie.
