I've been on MFP for about one year and am still battling the bulge. I just posted a new blog post that will give you some background on me. I want to become more active in the community aspects of this website in hopes that I won't feel so frustrated and inpatient on this journey. Please feel free to check out my page and offer advice. Thanks.

Hi, I'm hoping to retire early and am trying to get into a fitness regime to offset the time when I won't be working. Actually I have scaled back quite a bit on the physical aspects of my job. I own and operate a bakery/restaurant and I have actually been doing mainly management duties that aren't very taxing physically. Also I have a lot of temptation around me daily and I give in alot. I started on mfp around Christmas, which is a bad time to start to lose weight, but now that the new year is here, I'm ready to get serious. I want to lose about 8 pounds and even though it doesn't sound like much to lose, it has been very difficult.I know that exercise is the answer for me, but getting into a routine is also difficult. I am also open to advice and encouragement. Keep up the battle and as I've been reading from other members " drink your water"!!!0
