Ive been on MFP for a year and its been touch and go lol but since Nov Ive really kicked it in gear. I always come here when I need a dose of inspiration, and hopefully I can inspire someone else with this post!
I am now 5'6, 222 lbs. Im 37% Body fat, and have another 40-45 to go before I will be within body fat regulations to join the military.
Im so excited because I have never been this close to having my dream become a reality.
Please dont quit... no matter how hard it is, I promise regret hurts worse than any workout routine.

Hi Meg...As your friend, I'm a witness to your hard work and discipline that you've put in over the last several months. Keep those goals in front of you because you ARE going to reach them. I'm so proud of you! You'll be able to enlist before you know it! You're lookin' great!0

Way to go!!! You'll be there in no time.
I joined the military right after high school (years ago.....) and I wasn't fat but I was overweight according to their standards. I remember being in line for breakfast/lunch/dinner and if you were overweight, you had to jog in place through the whole line - it was so embarrassing and I hated it.
I wish you the best of luck!0 -
you look great! you can really see the difference in your chest, waist and legs. beautiful!~0

You look great and couldn't have stated it better:
"regret hurts worse than any workout ever will"
If I just started back in 2005, I would have been at my goal weight for over 5 years already... instead I'm sitting here regretting all the missed time.
Keep up the good work!0 -
