Looking for a Quick Fix?

At a steady pace, it should take me approximately 9-10 months to reach my goal.

That seems like a long time, doesn't it?

However, if you compare the time it will take to reach your goal, to the amount of time you've spent abusing your body with unhealthy food, and sedentary life style...does the goal date seem too long?

I've sat on my butt for nearly 15 years in addition to abusing my body with binges, etc.

I can turnaround 15 years in 9 months through healthy eating and exercising.

That seems like a relatively quick fix, don't you think ;)

I hope that my post help some of you out there on your journey. It took me A LONG TIME to get where I am right now, mentally. That's the difference between now and every other time I've tried to "diet". I'm not dieting. It's my new life...and I'm so happy to be here, finally!

I feel like you should be speaking this post to me with blurred light and strange, peaceful tones of choirs singing indistinguishable words in the background. It is so profound, so simple, so true.

Thanks for sharing the perspective with us.
