Well today was my big 50! :drinker: I started this weight loss journey in January 2008 at 230 lbs I had a goal of 200lbs by the time I was 50. Did not quite make it ... I weighed in at 202lbs. I still feel like I have succeded as over the last 15 months I have changed my lifestyle and my eating habits. Very rarely will I have seconds, I have 3 meals a day with 3 snacks a day and I have started to work out 2 or 3 times a week.
I feel so much better!!! So this morning after I weighed in I had no problem looking in the mirror and saying "way to go old man" which was part of my original goal.
For all of you starting your journey the trip is so worth it. You will have successes and you will probally have failures of some sort. Don't sweat it ... keep going and you will acheive your goals!!! :flowerforyou:

Fit by fifty...I've lost a few pounds which is great...but I want to be rocking and rolling at 50...next year 3/18/09. You're an inspiration and congrats to you...The best part about reaching goals is standing in the mirror and looking at your reflection and saying "you did good"....'I rock"...so to you...cheers!!!! :drinker:0 -
