At work I usually walk at least six hours a night, although I put this on my exercise, I am trying hard to get other workouts in throughout the day. I am bummed although cause this week at work I have to fill in for a woman on vacation and will be standing for nine hours a night running six computors. I will have moments where I will have nothing to do. I don't necessarily want to count it but can anyone think of any thing I can do to get a little bit of exercise while just standing there. I hate the thought of just standing , wasting time when I could be exercising. Thank you for your suggestions in advance.

It will probably sound silly, but you can definitely do butt clenches. And don't forget about doing squats! All exercise doesn't mean it has to be cardio. Work on your muscles, too.0

Thanks for the suggestions. Not silly to me either. I have been clenching ever since I read this.0

If possible do a little jogging in place or leg lifts and if you can't do anything like that one of the best exercises you can do if you don't have time or room for much is squats.
Squats work big muscles, therefore you burn a few more calories and they are good for your core and will help with balance and overall strength!0 -
Thanks Nichole for the suggestions. This has helped me a lot and looking forward to the week a little better now0
