I get the shirataki noodles with no tofu, but they're usually in the same area. In my grocery store, they are located by the bagged salads and vegetarian items in the produce department.
I like to rinse, drain, then pan fry them with no oil. It helps the texture to be more like noodles. Otherwise they have a weird texture (which I like in soup, but not otherwise).
I like to then stir fry them with just about any veggies and some laughing cow light cheese until it's melted.
ETA: I forgot a protein. Any protein works. I've made it with tuna, chicken, and I bought some steak-umms for just that purpose but haven't used them yet.
They are also good put into broth with any veggies and serrano chilis for some heat. When you put them in soup, the options are really endless. Just add whatever you like.
I eat these at least a couple of times per week as they are so super low calorie.0
