Random thought about Protein and Fats

Hey guys I've been eating clean for about a year now. I was 214lbs and now down to 140lbs. It's starting to confuse me on how much protein intake I should have to lose weight. Now that I am 140lbs. My meal plans are different now after losing all that weight. I just want to know is it bad that I go over my protein intake? Or fats? I had a trainer back then that told me to intake 4 oz of protein each main meals along with TBS of healthy fats. Now this MFP calorie diary is telling me I'm going over. Hmm I'm curious.... What happens to the extra healthy fats & protein taking in? Ahhh.. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!
