I have decided to go back to school & get a associates degree in Radiology, if i get chosen for the program. I will be starting off at the begining with the basics. The hole thing scares the S$%( out of me. SOmetimes my sons 5th grade math gets me. Its just been so long since ive used my brain for anything other than raising my kids. I wasnt the best high schooler, skipped almost a hole semester & still passed with a 70%, so im pretty smart. I only lasted 2 months in college before i dropped out. I was working 40+ hours as a vet tech & then a full load of school. I know ppl do it all the time, but i just couldnt handle it. Im ready now.....I think.....still in a debate with myself....do i want to leave my 2 yr old, 8 yr old & 11 yr old during the day, multiple times a week. I really need to do something to challenge my brain. something for me.
Please tell me about your exsperience goin back to school. I know ppl do it all the time. Im truely terrified to even go see the admissions counselor. Plus i have a very bad social anxiety & get really nervous & sometimes i stutter when im nervous. I want to do this so bad.... also any suggestions on scholarships, grant, f aide. Do's & donts.

I'm not a stay at home mom, I actually have a very good job and put in a lot of hours. For some silly reason I made the choice to go back to school last year. It was not easy. I takes a lot of planning. Your kids will go through an adjustment too. It will be hard, I mean really hard at first. But stick with it, dont give up because it will get easier to manage. The best advice i can give is try not be beat yourself up if you get overwhelmed and feel like you can not do it all. Truth is, you can't do it all and there will be times you need to ask for help. Good luck!0
