You are losing it until you drink it back.

If you don't drink it back, you'll sweat out more the next day.

If you don't again, you'll soon find yourself dehydrated, electrolytes out of balance, potential kidney and liver damage, maybe brain, joint problems, especially back as the discs lose needed water. If job relies on the back potential permanent injury.

So really, no you are not losing weight, because being on your back in bed because of back injury, with messed up organs, will probably have you gain weight.

You may lose weight immediately after sweating, but as somebody else pointed out, once you drink something, it will return.

That's why, if somebody goes into a sauna, weighs themselves beforehand and then after they will lose a couple of pounds. It immediately returns after a cup of fluid though.

Heybales' posting said it all really, because by not replacing those fluids that have been sweated out, a person would put their health at risk - really not worth it.

Yup, losing water weight, and that's not going to stay off.

I thought if you really sweated buckets on workout you were losing weight and inches cos I lost loads when I was doing 5am workouts in bin liner, I lost loads of inches too. I thought that was why.

Maybe it was just cos I was unfit and 2 stone over weight? as I've got fitter I don't seem to sweat as much though I always try finding exercises that are harder for me to do so I will but the inches also aren't coming off as fast now either. .. and i wanted about 5" off tummy fast to get in some jeans by March,
