Walk or tone 1st?

Hi, I am brand new here & have a question. I need to get back on track. Today I am starting my workout again. I took off 5 months which wasn't a good idea so I need to lose & tone!

I am a walker...I love doing Leslie Sansone dvd's which to me is a good full body workout without being too harsh on my body since I have a cervial spine injury.

My question is this....I also love doing toning exercises. Can I do these ALONG with walking without bulking up? In the past I would walk 30 mins & then do about 10-15 mins of toning afterwards. Is this good or should I be doing it a different way like walk 3 days, tone 4 days? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

    You will not bulk up. Its simply not possible unless you are taking some kind of testosterone or steroid.

    You might gain some muscle, but nothing unsightly like some people seem to fear.
