Amount of protein after workout?

Hi there, I am female, about 140lbs, doing interval training for 30 minutes daily. I usually get my daily protein intake from my food (or close to it) so my question is; how much protein do I have to ingest after my workout in order to help my muscles the way protein should??

    I listen to Jillian Michael's podcast and she says it's ideal to eat 10g before and 10g after. I usually eat a Think Thin bar. It has 20 grams. So I split it in half. :-)
